Default Telus blocking ports on router?

Hey everyone!

So I just got my apex back up and now all my ports are closed on my router! And now every time I open one it closes right away! Anyone else have this issue?

That'd be weird if they did. Have any malware? Perhaps reset your router back to factory.

I'm struggling with the same thing. The Telus router/gateway is locked down with the latest firmware that they pushed through. I haven't been able to open any ports

I Donno why they are doing bit, but I called them up and the flat out block anything under 1024 according to their tech. I find it really hard to believe since most email servers use 995. I'm still working on it but I hope it lets me open a port soon!

I use ports in the 40k range. If they block below 1024...just raise the port #

It's freakin BS that you pay for a ISP, and then they block the things you want and need.... I had one here blocked uploads to Youtube even WoW, and other things. AND charging me a Prem $80/mo for 500Mb bandwidth!! which I was never able to get higher than 220Kb...
Now I'm on xPlorenet and about as bad. Youtube uploads limited to 24kb, and they say Ohh it must be your computer sir. Im paying for 500MB UL and 1.5Gb DL!! 17 hrs to upload a 6 min vid, where I go to town and use a internet cafe, and its done in like 6 min
