![]() I was looking at the fuel band and after a few Google searches realized there were many choices like the the fuel band. Like the amiigo, jawbones up, and more.
Anyone have experience with any of these? I'm mainly looking at the fuel band because I can buy one that is waterproof so I can use it while swimming as well... But any experience with any would be great. Thanks.

![]() I've read that the output can be quite variable in accuracy on these types of devices, so if it's just a curious interest, it should be fine, but if you're attempting to reach performance or weight loss goals, it might not give you the right info.

I think I'm stuck with the fuel band as It's the only one I can buy that has been waterproofed I tend to swim more than any other cardio activity now a days.

![]() True they are sometimes uncomfortable but when I started I found it invaluable to hit my taget heart range and maintain it. After 5 or so years I know it by feel and dont use it anymore but I recommend it to everyone just starting any new activity until they get to the point where they can feel their own comfot zone.
