Do you have to target feed the tube 'nem or does it do pretty good scavenging on its own?

i do feed it daily but im pretty sure it would fair well with out it seems to be very hardy the opics never show it but tall the tentacles have splatters of neon green on them and the whole face is neon green as well , pretty cool piece
