In the future, hyposalinity is not a good method of treatment for fish already showing spots. Hyposalinity is a good prevention in quarantine though for fish not showing symptoms.

Next time, use Furan 2 which treats both gram positive and gram negative bacteria and also does not affect the nitrifying bacteria.

I'm not sure what's wrong with the wrasse, almost sounds neurological. Personally, if a fish has a suspected disease that I don't know what it is I usually use Formalin because it treats such a broad spectrum of illnesses.

unless you are referring to the Orange-back with the white-ness on his head

It looks like the only Formalin I can readily get my hands on is ParaGuard, which I don't place much faith in

The video looks similar to a problem I had with a Yellow Coris wrasse. Except the one I had swam in circles. It would still eat if the food was close enough, but the fish had no control of direction. I think it is either neurological or some sort of equilibrium/swim bladder problem. I hold little faith in that fish making it. I don't have any advice for you as I've not been successful treating that type of symptom.

MI as in Marine Ich, right? Hyposalinity doesn't usually work fast enough to save the fish if the fish is at such an advanced state of infection that it is showing Ich spots on its body. Hypo is good prophylactic treatment for fish showing no signs.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy that. Is that even Formalin? I don't think it is? See if your LFS can special order it for you, or try at your local university biology supply shop. Sometimes they will sell it to you.

Yes, as in Marine Ich, and from what you say I guess I got lucky with my Kole as he made it through a bout in QT

Tonight is the last dose of E.M. Tomorrow night they get a nice WC and then a couple days of carbon

I'm pondering a round of Metronidazole next as a last ditch effort

The Metro is a reasonable last ditch effort, although I wouldn't be wanting to expose the other fish to any more medications. They've had enough already!

looks like a swim bladder problem. Could be a direct effect of the antibiotics and the good bacterias inside the fish intestine.

I would never treat with antibiotics unless it is 100% sure it is a bacterial disease. Most of the time it is a parasite that is causing the problem and it is better to treat with a broad spectrum medicine like Seachem Paraguard.

I don't think it's swim bladder problem. I have seen a lot of fish with swim bladder problem and your fish doesn't have swim bladder problem.
