I've used in water within 24 hours as well. However I have found that if you do leave it for the full 7 days before doing anything with it, it does appear to be a lot harder (mind you this was on a background, so it wasn't going under water).

awesome thanks guys. i'll probably install it (return manifold) tomorrow morning after 24hrs. I should be ok to fire things up that evening then right? I think I've gotten glued pipe wet after only 12 hrs or so...
