And you can laugh all the way to the bank (or cash register) since you're the one with the gift certificate, not me

For me biopellets are great. I am not a daily doser person. I shake my reactor once or twice a week if I remember.
I'm using a modified tlf550. It works alright. Problem with the tlf550 is the 90 deg elbows inside restrict flow a lot! That's the only reason why I need to shake the reactor. I started with only 100ml in the reactor then after a few weeks added more and so on. Started very slow and saw no ill affects.

Things are doing great. I can already see the corals throwing in new growths. Even a red monti digi is growing good on the sand bed. So my 4 T5s "SINGLE" reflector pushing in good amount of light on the sand bed. I did order another 2 T5s fixture from aquatraders 10 days ago. Didn't get any sort of update from them regarding shipping, no email reply and no one answered the phone calls so I filed a claim with paypal. Quite ****ed on this.
Got a phosban 150 which I will be using to run biopellet (holding it for now) and will be getting a BRS dual reactor soon to run gfo and carbon. Anyway, bought a dslr and here's some test shots with it. Not the best photos, reef photography is very hard I must admit! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Got biopellets today and will start running it from tomorrow. Diatom bloom is gone but there is a slight trace of nitrate though the API kit which I am not liking. Possibly due to over feeding and all the craps that the foxface release eating a whole sheet of nori a day. He is going under strict diet now!
Got a tini tiny regal tang (tang polices, please hold you breath ) that schools along with the chormis and has been eating since its intro to the tank. Very fun fish. Love how it schools around with the chromis ![]() Here's some pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Tank is looking great!
Hopefully you have good luck with that little tang. I've had terrible luck with the small ones. He looks pretty happy!
