i love the goby/pistol pairs. even just the pistol shimp, such a cool little shrimp. i love my ribbon eel tho also, just stunning when he goes for a swim!

i heard a tonne of things saying dont get one, most of them die.... i dont know how old those studies are? mine also just fell into my lap. was a rescue fish. i love the thing. never any trouble feeding frozen siversides, and hasnt bothered anything in my tank (mind you if he can get ahold of that pistol shrimp im sure he'll eat it). is well over 3 feet, still black but i hope he goes blue one day.

3 feet that's impressive! Perhaps the color might be due to diet conditions?
Cannot remember the name however @ a LFS they have small little eels just a few inches that almost stand up in the current waiting for a meal. Fun to watch! |
