Just a quick update on the tank. I had recently noticed some sps had a tiny bit of algae growing on the tip of 1 or 2 branches. I instantly thought some thing is up with my alk. 2 days ago my wife did a water testing and what do you know friken 5.2dkh, can you say oops. So I decided to dose a bit of brs's soda ash. Note to self, not a good idea when you are all wasted. I bumped my alk from 5.2 to 8.9 in one night.
 Luckily everything is still looking good. narrow escape.  some pics       new addition, labouti wrasse. round 3 but I think I got a good chance.
