![]() I only put slightly more flow through my sump than my skimmer flow is rated at. That's just been my rule of thumb and works for me. Keeps things quiet as well.

![]() Eheim 1262 isn't enough... I had one of these and just took it out a couple weeks back, and put a Mag18 back in... This was due to the fact that there wasn't enought water turnover in the sump for my new skimmer.
The eheim pump is a great pump, but for turnover rate of your tank you need more. My tank is a 180 gallon with 100 gallon sump.
