You get some good deals, but its not super even across the board. E.g. I think there is a bigger discount on plumbing parts and bulk supplies then there is on RO/DI systems etc. Its not typically a set value, e.g. 10%, its kind of more so on a per item basis. I really seems to depend on what you're ordering. I usually try to buy my RO/DI materials, plumbing, and bulk chemicals on group orders because thats where and when I find I save the most.

Before a group order everyone is just a regular BRS member and you get the advertised prices on the website, if you do a group order two things happen a) you get group order pricing which is usually under the retail price and b) you become a preferred memeber for life. After your group order is done and you're a Preferred Member you still get discounts that fall between the retail and the group order pricing.
