![]() Yes of course it can be fragged, just make sure it's good and healthy.
I've fragged these with and without a mouth successfully, care should be taken with the specimen after cutting the tissue, I often use iodine dip, placing both the new frag and mother colony in the dip for a few second to help prevent infection. Check out this quick vid from youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbWR12GCKLw If you are going to use some kind of saw, it would be best to keep the blade as cool as possible, this will help keep the flesh viable.
