![]() It's just maple plywood (3/4"), corner maple pieces hide the plywood edges. Here's a beam I haven't put up yet:

![]() Maybe the pic is too small to see but I swear the grains are continuous edge to edge on all sides? You're staining the ends that show the plys? To my eyes all sides look like nice maple?

![]() Most of the pieces up there have edge banding on them to cover the edges. Originally I just planed on doing that without the corner covers but I later decided to add the corner covers because it looked better. By corner covers I mean these:
So I won't be bothering with edge banding for the remaining beams. |
