Free Bump.
This skimmer is worth its weight. The only reason I no longer have a SM250 is because I upgraded to a SM300.

Thanks Bob. I am debating keep it and run it along with my BK external 200 or coming 300 then i can have lots of fish in my new 350 gallon.

Would it be too much for a 120 with about 150 total water volume including sump? I have a SRO SSS 1000 right now and it doesn't pull much, but that is mainly to do with my filter sock catching most everything.

I've ran the same skimmer since May 2008, never gave me an issue, it's rock solid. Ran in on a 100 gallon tank + sump without issue.

On paper, probably it is too big for your tank size but it also depends on the load. I am running bk deluxe 200 on 155 gallon with medium stock and happy with it
