Wow once again this is a sweet thread to follow along your doing a great job. That pattern in that granite looks crazy.

That's gonna be one sweet looking bar!

Thanks for the info on the tiled ceiling in the shower as well. Must have been a painfully slow process putting it up one tile at a time. It's a ton of work to mix up the mortar to just do one tile. Are those quartzite tiles you used in the shower?

That's the idea.

The tiles are travertine, unfilled so they were super porous and extremely delicate. They would often crack while being cut which was the most frustrating part since I went with 18x18 tiles and as you can probably tell there are very few tiles that didn't require cutting. Mixing up small batches of mortar wasn't a big deal and it was only the ceiling I did one tile at a time.

Thanks bud, I'm watching your build closely as well which is looking awesome. I actually went into the granite warehouse to pick out a slab of the same more basic Bianco Antico which is what we used in the bathroom but it turns out I'm easily distracted.
