Default pinpoint ph meters

The probe is covered in coraline.Can i clean it with something because i think i'm getting false readings.

Try soaking it in a vinegar solution. That should help.

How old is it? they suggest replacement at 3 months. Not sure of the exact life span if it though.

3 months? Jeez I thought they were good longer than that (although mine did kick off at about 4 months or so ).

I was under the imprestion it was once every year and a half to two years. At $60 a pop for a new probe, I'd go broke if i had to replace it every 2 months.
