People make the choice of were they bank and how much to pay. Everything is detailed out for them in the contracts. Shop around, I have no bank fees, free cheques, etc. Never had to pay interest on credit cards either. The only money I pay is the 2.25% mortgage rate that I voluntarily signed. I don't think anyone on the planet would give out hundreds of thousands of dollers to someone off the street so they can buy a house and not expect something in return.

Ever heard of banking term leverage?
Grossly oversimplified It works like that:

Bam. $ 20K just appeared in the system supported by nothing, not even a paper that the money was Not printed on.
All they do is punch in $20.000.oo on the computer & hit enter.
Now you have to go to work and launder the money for them and put it in the system.
Now this money is real plus you will have to pay interest on something bank never had?
