![]() I have the Super Reef Octopus XP 1000 SSS Cone Skimmer. It works great but it requires very minimal water in the sump or you have to raise it with something. My secondary option was going to be the NAC7.

![]() LOL.
SO... I'm torn. I like the BM Curve 7 skimmer, but it is rated for 185-240 gallons, meaning that it might be a little big..... Now i've read a lot on "over skimming" and i'm not sure what to think of it. This skimmer could be good in case he decides to upgrade (which he has done twice already). I also like the Curve 5, but it only goes up to 140 gallons. The BM NAC7 is awesome, but reefsupplies dosn't carry that model, and I was hoping to use this website for the first time to try them out. BM Curve 5 - http://www.reefsupplies.ca/online-st...e-Skimmer.html BM Curve 7 - http://www.reefsupplies.ca/online-st...er-canada.html BM NAC7 - http://www.goreef.com/Bubble-Magus-N...n-Skimmer.html Like i said, the total water volume is about 120 gallons. The display is about 50 gallons.
