All I know is that I paid $140.00, but that included extra cost for the starfire, and the black trim, and a glass cover. Therefore, I don't know the base price without the extras. I do think he did a nice job. I am just a little sorry I did not have room for the first tank, which he made in error. It was 24"X24"X18"
