It is is kinda pretty. Seeing as it is embedded into the rock it possibly will not spread from that rock if it stands alone. I don't know if this is true but if it was my rock I would take the chance!

I believe it's Udotea algae. I've got some in my tank, I think it adds a natural feel to it. My tanks a year old and I don't think of it as invasive in the least. Now my Dictyota algae... GRRRRRRRR
