| Yes, from experience. When I had my 210, the water level was at 10. It was perfect. Now I am running the same sump on the new tank, the water is sitting between 11.5-12 inches. It's adjusted open all the way for perfect foam production, slightly wet. If you want to skim dry you will have to remove the tube completely which isn't a huge deal.

| Mine runs perfectly at 10", I could try 11" and see what it's like if you want but why not worst case just stick something under the skimmer to lift it up 1", or do you have head clearance issues? |

| It's nothing clearance wise, my skimmer section is actually just over 12" deep so I think I need a stand. I just have my Bk 180 on a custom acrylic stand but the new Jumbo Skimmer won't fit on it. What do you use for a stand Sphelps?

| No stand for me, dedicated separate sump for the skimmer and I set the water level to 10", but Ive build a few stands in the past for the purpose out of acrylic. |
