![]() I wanted to change up the layout of my tank, so I have thought of taking some LR out of the DT, and putting it in the sump cause its not working for coral placement, so is it ok to do this and add some dry, base, or LR to the DT in its place? I'm looking for more shelf space so to speak. It wouldn't be much, maybe 5-10lbs at most.
Btw anyone have any shelf pieces they wanna get rid of ![]()

![]() Base rock wouldn't be a problem to add, it'll just take time to become live. Be prepared for it to do some funky things for the first couple of months. I added some and it turned flourescent green for a while. I added additional live rock to my 55 last year. We had started with 20lbs, added 10 lbs live and 20 lbs base around the 5 month mark. All was fine.

![]() Yeah, but the rock I bought all fits together the way I originally had it, which is why I bought it LOL. So now I'm looking for a few smallish shelves to add to the mix to change things up and add some space for sps to encrust
