Thank you how much advanced notice do you need? I will be going this route inless anyone else has 4 to 6 to loan...

Suction cups are well worth the cost to rent the good ones. I have the cheap ones from princess auto but I wouldn't use them again. They slip and it's hard to get a real strong reliable grab with them.

I am definatly going to stay away from anything cheap, the money I might save isn't worth a broken tank

Usually only need a few days notice...was that you that rented them for Saturday?

Are they really necessary for a 150g tank?

The chart I have says that a standard 150g tank weighs 338lbs, suction cups would allow more people to carry it easier at the very least.

Ya, I guess. A buddy and I carried my 180 from the road, up the stairs and into the kitchen, figured a 150 being smaller wouldn't really need suction cups Guess it depends on who's carrying it too

a 150g is closer to 200lb i think are 180g its just a guy on each end and go. big hint don't set it on the ground the lift to carrying height sucks
