![]() got this message on the phone today so heads up!
scheduled line maintainence how much of a problem will this be you think? i've got a 20 gal and 80 gal freshwater anything to worry about? |

![]() depends how long the power is out I have had power out for 4 hours recently no problems. fish were ticked in my FW tank though

![]() When I was still doing freshwater I had one day where a scheduled construction event took out my power for 10 hours and I had no issues or losses. This was a 55 gallon angel tank that was decently planted.
reefme has a really good idea of using a battery air pump and that would be all you needed but if you are still concerned then take off the lid and point a fan at the air surface to have better diffusion rates for oxygen. If you're dosing CO2 you should turn that off for duration of the shut down too. |
