Whats the difference between the L1 Strawberry Shortcake and the L2 Strawberry shortcake?

Hi Christy,

The L1 and L1 denotes different mother colonies that the frags come from. Most corals that are labelled Strawberry Shortcakes are fresh wild colonies that are immediately fragged, and that's why so many don't have a great track record in surviving past a few months at best.

Unique Coral introduced their Strawberry Shortcake in 2009 and it has become very adaptive to captive conditions and has change it's structure somewhat. It no longer looks like a wild Acropora Microclados like what we are seeing come in now. It's probably my most favorite coral at the moment. Hot Pink and Green base, amazing.

On a side note, just added some new additions, pics forth coming:

Blue eye Goniopora

Rainbow Goniopora

Phils Granulosa

Purple Poison Microclados

Aussie Wild blue tip Hyacinthus

Really can't wait to see the frags grow out too.

Thanks
