![]() Does anyone has had any experience with strawberry anemone in a SPS reef tank.
any pos. neg. & tips would be appreciated. I put a hold on one at J&L but it is now on the front glass so I cant see what it looks like really and also wanted to get some feed back on here before I get it. Looks like this one. http://gallery.nen.gov.uk/asset88718-.html |

![]() That's a kind of anemone from cold/temperate water. Usually I wouldn't expect them to do well in a tropical reef setup but WWM suggests [possibly] otherwise.
Personally, I wouldn't mix and match temperate/tropical but that decision is ultimately your call. Here is the link I found: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/coldanemfaqs.htm Let us know what you decide. Maybe a full-blown coldwater system is in your future:P. |

![]() Sorry,
just to be clear, I didn't buy mine from JL... (I quite like them and always found them to be helpful!) I just noticed that there were some there when i was shopping the other day. I was very neutral in my thread and took all responsibility for buying something without knowing it. so, sorry JL if it sounded like i was throwing heat your way! |

![]() I have a strawberry anemone from Jl, I bought one because I liked the pattern on the body which appear to be like some kinda reptile or goosebumps. Mine has stayed put in my tank and is still the same size, don't really know how big they get, they don't like extreme light either. Just attach it to a small rock and put it down low, so if it decides to split it will be on it's own island.
