the apartment on its whole is only about 1400sq ft

mines about half the size, (sqft) and our sump is super quiet but space is space. if you cant go sump, do a couple of aquaclear 110s on the back. or build the tank into an AIO kind of thing, with a pane of glass separating the tank into 2 sections, with a mini sump in the back if you know what I mean
