That's really sad. Could be due to the contaminated carbon as when I got copper poisoning all my zoa and paly where turning wierd and many have melted away over a day or 2 after that event.

Also alkalinity swing are very detrimental to zoanthids but if there are so many of them affected, it could be copper.

Have you done copper test?

You could try dosing some vitamin C to see if that help.
