![]() I would use the 2 bigger pumps and setup a wave profile via the Apex. Yes, they're compatible via a cheap cable.
As the tank grows, you could fill in dead zones with small maxijets or non variable speed tunzes. I run 2 old 6100 pumps, plus a third 6080 to fill in. Works well.

![]() Should mention the cable(s) are all you need assuming you have the full Apex system. If you have the Lite version an additional module would be necessary.
