Q: How can we acknowledge helpful members?

and well i never knew about it so im going with your opinion.
and im pretty sure that i was giving a suggestion on how to help acknowledge helpful members...which is exactly the topic.
as far as winners, thats not this topic.

There are no winners, there are selected members chosen to be publicly recognized.
The rep thing is pretty much a joke, most people give and take, trade rep for frags and bubblegum, you name it.
The more rep points, the more green dots under someone's post count. Except mine, I just added some to see what happened. Red means you're really bad, black means you're not playing.

Yup, I got no nominations, none of the sponsors returned my messages, so I figured nobody was into it. Too bad....

I guess not. I can think of a dozen members that could have been nominated, so I was surprised nobody wanted to play.

There was 2 people that I wanted to nominate. One is my boyfriend (who has helped out many members) even opened Red Coral on Christmas day so someone could buy salt since they had ran out and needed to do an emergency water change, kinda surprised no one else nominated him. The other person I wanted to nominate (Steve from RCE) is a sponsor so I can't, even though he has helped out many people (free of charge) on his own time.
