Not sure which cable you're asking about:
Hanging cables attachments can be removed, they just screw on. Once removed, there are holes which I can screw something else into it. I know this is probably the most viable way to use those brackets, but the problem is the electrical cable is in the way of the metal plate. I have thought of using a washer/spacer and use longer screws to attach it. However, the hole on the left is quite close to the electric cable as in the pic, so the washer/spacer needs to a specific size/shape. Knowing my hardware stores, I don't think I can find something as specific as that...

Electrical cables, not sure why you want to remove it, but I don't think it's removable.
