Feeding my sun coral, brains?

I just got a sun coral the other day and I have a green and a red open brain. I was told that I would have to ffed the sun coral manually. Can anyone tell me what is the best time of day to feed it? Also, what should I be feeding both the sun coral and the brains?

Help would be greatly appreciated.
