You can do it in the house Sheena just do it in small stages, a couple feet at a time, mask off the side and chuck some paper on the floor. Krylon or Rustolium will give you a nice smooth finish.

Ha, that was easy, I just scraped the paint off it 10mins. Will spray it instead.
