The gobie has a main cave that they sleep in. I put the net where 9/10 times he enters and exits. Then I poked a plastic stick into his cave from the opposite side. The gobie bolted out right into the net |

![]() I think you'd be best to pick up a proper hook from a store. They are sharp but hardened. Make sure you get barbless and small. Grab a small spool of fishing line and ask the vendor to show you how to tie a proper knot. Then you can use the spool as the 'rod', like jigging
