Going to try to get some sound dampening pads under the pump if there's room & I already have a piece of flex pipe after the pump. When I restrict the pump more by turnning the valve a bit it gets loader.

Reeflo pumps actually recommend that you throttle the pumps, it drops the amp ratings and prolongs the life of the pumps.
