I hear ya! The wife wants cherry though lol so thats what she gets only problem now is the plan I have made doesnt allow room for my original 20 gallon sump so I have to find a cube sump or one that will fit in a 22" or less space. Oh well she wanted wood, but it could cost more money now for a custom sump

I think what I will most likely do is 2 ten gallon tanks one as a refugium one as a sump with the refugium higher like we originally talked about Greg, but I may have to fine a tank that is bigger then 10 gallons for the sump but still in the 20" range or so.. we'll see

Just make sure your sump is big enough. You'll need one big enough so that when the power goes out there will be enough room in your sump for the drainage and no floods.

I hear ya. I want to try and find one thats 20x 12x 16 high or so, so like a 15 tall or something unless I can find someone on here with an old cube sump laying around but we'll see, for now, I have to get my stand built, get my tank drilled, find a skimmer which I can build the sump around, and build my leds lol god, it sounds like so much.

Converting the 280g to freshwater is looking better and better. One school of 30ish cardinal tetras. DONE and DONE.
