if it's a glass tank, use glass baffles as acrylic does not adhere to silicone very well. Especially if the baffles are built to hold more water in one compartment than others it will simply blow out!

![]() Yup, acrylic baffles will pull out of the silicone over time. Use glass baffles. 2 is all you need. I usually go with 8-10" to create the right water height for the skimmer to sit in.
