I am looking to buy a skimmer for a 300 gallon system.
either Vertex cone 200-250 or BBK 200-250

Excellent choice for skimmers! I have owned them both and you can't go wrong with either. Lots of people told me the BK Supermarines are the best skimmer ever made and after buying a SM200 I totally agree!
