After a incident with a UV sterilizer that turned my water black I lost a few fish. So after a few months I have finally got around to replacing some. My latest editions with pics to follow are: Mottled Jawfish 6 Line wrasse Cleaner Wrasse (which eats mysis) Copperband Butterfly (which only eats mysis and not aptasia ![]() Coral Banded Shrimp Green Spotted Mandrin (star of the show, always out front showing off) |

![]() Well I got given a used sterilizer which I ran some water through for 15 mintues. Bought a Maxijet pump for it and put it in my tank... The next day I came home to find my tank VERY dark, when I pulled a sample of water it was as dark as when you rinse your carbon for the first time.
After a 50% water change, pulling the UV sterilizer, and adding lots of new carbon I ended up losing 5 fish but no coral. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
