![]() But the application of an iPhone and results it produces are worth the money. This fixture still only produces light and doesn't produce different results. Would be different if this fixture has the ability to measure tank perameters and warn you when something is wrong

![]() This is relative. One man's junk is another man's treasure as they say :-) How much money did you spend on your fish tank? No matter its cost, there are tonnes of people who would not drop a dime on it because it's just not worth the money

If you want to control your peram's, have warnings and a light, then get a different fixture and a GHL controler, problem solved. There are lots of fixtures that are cheaper and GHL compatible. |

![]() My job also involves a lot of driving in areas that I am not familular with, like st Albert, Sherwood park, spruce grove. iPhone has updated maps. This feature alone saves me from buying a 200 dollar gps unit

![]() The least used feature on my iPhone is the actual "phone" part. So comparing it to a 5 year old cell phone is not eve a fair comparison.

Maybe this just seems too much for me because I'd have to spend over 5 grand on these fixtures where as my 1000 watts of metal halides cost me 600 |
