![]() Glad you got your first batch in Dave, more on the way
![]() Ecotech stated to us that not everyone will want to use a kit so adding it would unfairly increase the price for those that dont, and I think Ecotech are right in this policy. The units do come with 4 x M5 eye bolts Each corner bolt has a threaded screw in it this is M5 thread so you can make your own. To be fair to Ecotech, other LED companies also do not sell hanging kits included and Ai are no different. Last edited by Aqua-Digital; 10-25-2011 at 04:13 PM. |

![]() Some body got some new toys!!!!
![]() sorry about the crap phone pics! Took a little while last night to get them strung up with a temporary wiring setup, but got them up and they are looking pretty sweet!! After getting the software/firmware setup on both, it was time to play! The interface is pretty simple to use, and programing the lights has been pretty straight forward. With the option of the different kelvin ratings raging from 5k to 20k and the ability to raise and lower the power throughout the day gives you the ability to set the light to any scenario. I switched out 2 - 250 watt halides to the two radions, but am still taking a bit of precautions for the first week and keeping the brightness around 70%. Although I am working on another lighting schedule that will have the lights on at 1pm at 100% with cloud cover for week two. I was a little worried about the spread of light with just the two lights, but the coverage is ample for the 48" of tank. All in all I'm quite happy with the Radions and will update more on my journal as things get both myself and my tank inhabitants get more accustom! Thanks again Dave! |
