Dont remove it, do a test first. try and touch it with your figure, if it retracts fast and almost disappear's then it could be a majano. Try to get a little better pic before you get rid of it.

![]() Looks a bit like a mojano by try grizz's test. I had some really sweet mojanos on my rock that looked like mini BTAs so I left them. And they were my favorites! As long as they stayed relegated to their little rock and played nice with others they could stay; if one violated house rules it got the flush.
I vote keep it . |

![]() I agree, that does not at all look like any pest anemone I have ever seen. Don't remove or destroy it without more evidence. It looks like a bubble tip to me.

![]() I did a quick googling on Majano pest anemone picture and this is what I got that is pretty close to what I have in the tank.
http://www.ultimatereef.net/info/idd...es/majano7.jpg I'll do the test that the Grizz has suggested later when I get home but for now I think Myka is right. Either way, I'll proceed with caution. It does look quite nice to be thrown into the garbage can ![]() |

![]() the only anemones i want in my tank are the ones i buy and purposely put there the rest i can do without.regardless of how nice it is majanos reproduce really fast and pack a powerfull sting.green bubble tips are as common as clowns and especially the green ones so not something extra ordinary that i couldnt bring my self to toss or give away if i happened to find one plus they 2 split constantly

![]() If you could get a better picture without any blue/actinic light running it would be easier to ID. I'm still very sure that it is a Majano.
Did they say how they acquired it? Did they produce an ID for you? |
