Just wondering if anyone knows of a good documentary highlighting rare corals and sweet reefs. So far I've only managed to find a few IMAX flicks and the Planet Earth series. I'd like to see huge Zoa/Acan gardens in the wild if thats possible. Any ideas?.....and don't say Finding Nemo...lol

Mysteries of the Deep: The Best of Undersea Explorer is a decent 5 disk set that I picked up at a London Drugs for $20.

Blue Earth is another good 4 disk set that National Geographic produced. At one time Costco had it for pretty cheep.

For some hardcore reef action, check out http://www.coralscience.org. They do cool little short videos on tons of different species. Unfortunately, there isn't a whole ton out there for rare species of corals

http://www.amazon.com/Water-Life-3pc.../dp/B002EZLO0Y +1 on BBC, NG, and coral reef adventure. Galapagos is pretty good as well but its only 40% reef related. I have a few good ones at home I will look when im there and get a few more names. |
