Like the RKE I use the lunar cycle option on my Apex. So no.

except when im sleeping.. they are always on, so off for like 6-7 hrs.
since i notice the fish are active a lot when i have them on. plus in real life the moon isnt out every day of the month. hence lunar cycle controllers, but i guess it aint nature in your tank.. |
