![]() I use a rio 1700 pump for my smr1. good realiable work horse. I have ran rio 1400 and 2500 pumps for over 7 years. The 2500 has been through my fresh water tank to my 72 bow front to now mixing salt in the 50 gallon container, never ever had an issue.
I run my pellets at a decent flow, just enough to tumble all the pellets but not crazy so the bacteria doesn't get washed-off.

I am thinking of getting a Eheim Compact 3000 any other pump recommendations?

![]() They also have a 1100 version which is 1100GPH. You could use that with a valve and adjust your flow as needed.

![]() Yes the rubber does help to silence the rigorous pumping but is also great protection as well.

![]() Pretty smart. Dude 29.99 for that pump is a good price. ehiem are quieter, but for the money you just can't beat that.
