Neat idea, if you add in some longer diagonal braces like the side's & back as low as you possibly work with that should work well. And if you have the room run a second tube to the underside of the front top horizontal tube.

By the way did you use Google Sketchup? If yes, How did you upload the pic.

I did uses sketchup for that last night. I had some issues figuring it out but I ended up exporting the sketch from sketchup as a .jpg ( i think meduim quality) and then upload it to google picasa (similar to photobucket and already setup if you have a gmail account).

Then click on the image, link to this photo, click image only no link, then copy the embedded image code and place into post as an image.
