In Tofino, Chesterman Beach (at low tide) is awesome for walking. Wickaninnish Beach (not the same beach as the resort) is also really nice. Boat tours leave Tofino harbour for whale watching and also go to the hot springs. I've never done it but want to. Roy Henry Vickers art gallery is first class and free in downtown Tofino.
