I have to admit, there is a HUGE technology difference between going out on Hookup's fishing boat with the 3-d, 4 sides sonar and heading out on a fishing boat in Indonesia. Here you are luck if the boat is fiberglass, most are wood. They all have a throttle control that is a string on a peg. You turn the peg to speed up the boat and to cut out the motor you give it a shot of fuel and let go of the sting and the engine will stall every time. Our high tech boat actually has a stearing wheel (very rare) that was connected to the rudder with clothes line tied into a crude knot at the end.

Here is our sweet ride in the background as Patrick modeled our sweet Level 6 clothing gear!

A HUGE thanks to Level 6 for outfitting Reef Wholesale on our indonesian adventures! The Shorts that we are wearing there look like normal shorts but they have a 2 mm wetsuit lining in them. Kinda like a normal pair of mens swimming trucks but the inner lining is a wetsuit. The gear from Level 6 has really made a huge difference for both of us in the cooler water on the reef crests across indo. Last trip shaun and I were coming in with blue lips and this trip the water has been colder and Trina and I have been staying out for several hours longer and we never got as cold as on our last adventure.
Style and function, thank you Level 6!

I don't think Level 6 could have helped with this one, but you have never seen someone remove their web suit boots as fast as farms over did on this trip out to the reef.

While Patrick was posing for his picture, the diver is getting his gear on and all of a sudden he start hopping around on one foot and rips his boot off at lightining speed. He went flying in one direction, the boot went flyin in another direction and one of the other guys stated smashing the ground in front of where the whole fiasco had taken place. So of course we had to go see what had just taken place.

Apparently a scorpion had climbed in his shoe during the night in search of a nice safe place to spend the day. We asked him what would have happened if the scorpion had stung his and his response was simple but well understood, "big trouble"

Well it was time to head out so we climed into our boat and you could also tell that this boat was high end as it had in inboard motor (most bigger boats did, but not the small boats).

Ok, ok, so the intake and exhaust are fully rusted off, you had to use a hand crank to start the boat, and the fuel tank is above deck in full sun but if it aint broken dont fix it!
And this boat ran very well.

Well we are heading out in our high speed, state of the art boat.

More to follow
