Vertex Puratec RO cap
Hi Folks,
I purchased one of these units locally, when I went to insert the RO membrane inside the cannister, I broke the fitting at the top. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement fitting or replacement cap? Any help will be muchly appreciated! Thanks Vince

It sounds as if this is the same problem I had on the same unit. I called Sea U Marine in Markham, and was told to bring it in so the could see what they could do. He happened to have a free replacement part in his scrap parts bin, and helped me in putting it together. He said they carry the Vertex RO units primarily, so that's why he had the part. Turns out, there was a much simpler way of removing the tubing from the lid for the canister on top.
Seeing as you're in Calgary, this complicates the matter but if you can specify the part you need, you can probably get it shipped. Best of luck!
