So water was terrible this morning when I went for a snorkel.. very stirred up.. only have a couple shots today..
      A couple notes.. Picasso Triggerfish + egg nest = not your friend at all.. kinda cute when the little guys try to get in your face.. and your like oh stop it silly thing.. but when the big ones like 12"+ come at you.. not so cute... The hotel I walk over to for some snorkeling is the Fairmont Orchid.. super nice and I feel a tad outa place just cutting through.. and turtles everywhere!

Very nice. My husband and I are thinking of going to the big Island for our late honeymoon. We never had one when we got married. Thing is Im the fish chick and hubby could care less and he doesnt swim. So snorkeling is out of the picture i guess. Thanks for sharing those lovely pics.

If it counts for anything, some of the people I scuba'd with were terrible swimmers!
I think maybe you should try to talk him into a snuba trip at least. They float your tank on the surface and you get like 40ft of line. Maybe you can get him addicted! The big island is awesome. Hilo side has amazing hiking and no swiming things, the Kona side has some amazing dive sites and surfing. So each side of the island has somthing for everyone!
