It does look like the start of it, but it is tough to tell. Make sure you have no nitrate, nitrite or ammonia present in the water. If there is, do a water change right away.
What is your lighting cycle?

Check your calcium/alk levels.
This is a huge part of maintaining a proper stomatopod habitat. If you suspect shell rot, start doing 10% partial changes now, ask question later. |
